Suggested day-by-day itinerary
Please note: all itineraries can be customised to suit the tastes of our clients and may vary to include local musical and cultural events.
| Day 1: | Arrive at villa. Meet your personal guide for the week. Short guided walk in the Casentino Forest National Park for introduction to local wildlife. Return to villa for a dip in the pool and a 3 course dinner. |
| Day 2: | Italian lessons in group according to level.Picnic lunch at Lago di Ponte followed by pool time before introduction to Italian cuisine and cookery lesson with Italian chef and opportunity to savour your creations. |
| Day 3: | Italian lessons in group according to level. Lunch at villa. . Time to relax by pool before heading to Faenza for visit to Ceramics museum/ ceramics workshop. Dinner at Osteria La Baita to taste local specialities. |
| Day 4: | Italian lessons in group according to level. Lunch at farm restaurant specialising in use of local herbs and afternoon bike adventure or pilates according to energy levels. Evening walk to be introduced to "the sounds of the forest" with guide. |
| Day 5: | Optional day off to visit nearby sites (Florence, Ravenna..), shop or relax. Optional dinner at restaurant il Mulino di San Michele, with internationally acclaimed chef whose menus offer a new approach to traditional dishes. |
| Day 6: | Italian lessons in group according to level. Lunch at Locanda il Guelfo to taste local salami and cheeses. Pool time before tour of local wine cellar and guided wine-tasting. Evening in Brisighella, one of Italy's "most beautiful villages" before dinner and visit to evening market. |
| Day 7: | Italian lessons in group according to level. Lunch at villa and relaxation before visit to local cheese-producer and typical dinner with farm products followed by short walk by torchlight and star watching. |
| Day 8: | Depart hotel. |
