Besides working as a lecturer with the University of Bologna for many years, Sarah Keating has organised various language courses and specialised travel itineraries for Italians visiting English-speaking countries. She has lived and worked in Italy for over 30 years and has developed a profound knowledge of the country, especially developing her interests in trekking on foot and horseback, combined with a keen interest in wine and food which led her to obtain a professional qualification from the Italian Association of Sommelier. She is responsible for customising programmes to best satisfy the needs of each of the individuals or groups that choose an experience with Extra Italy, and will welcome you upon arrival and follow your needs throughout your stay.

Chiara Talamonti will enable you to master the basics of this beautiful language that has inspired poets, librettists and lovers throughout the centuries so that you can communicate with greater ease when visiting the country as well as gaining a greater understanding of the people and culture of this penisular. Chiara is blingual in Italian and English, but also speaks Spanish and French and is well aware of the joys and difficulties of picking up a second language. Her classes are designed to be both stimulating and fun as well as providing a sound basis on which to build a further development of your language skills. The emphasis of her approach is create a great atmosphere among the group so all members may express their talents to the full.
